Lives Here Group: Full member Posts: 733 Member No.: 51 Joined: 8-September 10	I bought some oil to top up my rear diff and gearbox on the escort, did the diff no probs but access to the drain plug on the box is not good i can get the plug to turn (just so could get it out but i cant see how the tube from the oil will reach the filler hole and apart from that you would have to pump it upwards to get the oil in (could get messy) is there a plate on the gearbox tunnel that i dont know about? that would give accsess from inside the car? Any tips welcome.

Spanner Junky Group: Full member Posts: 242 Member No.: 129 Joined: 4-April 11	Nope no plate mate, you have to squeeze uphill, just keep the bottle as horizontal as you can lol, prob find it won't need much unless a seal is leaking.

apprentis gynachologist spend all day working for a c*nt Group: Full member Posts: 1,045 Member No.: 28 Joined: 20-July 10	Haven't done one for a while but didn't your gearbox oil bottle come with 2 pieces of pipe 1 you put on the inside of the bottle on the lid and one on the outside so you can squeeze the oil in with the bottle the right way up ( don't tell me they don't do them anymore )
